Welcome to The Web Support Guy. If you’re not getting what you expect or need from your website and you want to know why, you’ve come to the right guy. With almost 20 years of professional full-time web management and marketing experience, I’ve got the skills and experience to make your website work the way it should.

Over the past 20 years or so, we’ve built and launched literally thousands of successful websites, from small community organisations to business and e-commerce sites, blogs, wikis and forums, to corporate and government portals with 5000 or more pages. Although I still build websites for some clients, my focus now is on the hundreds of thousands of websites that … well … simply don’t work!

I know business. I’ve run businesses of my own for most of my life, helped others to launch successful businesses both online and in the real world, held senior corporate and government management positions and worked as a consultant and manager with small and medium businesses in the retail, wholesale, construction, real estate, agribusiness, IT and telecommunications industries, to mention a few.

I know about customers. I’ve spent my entire career developing an in-depth understanding of what customers really want, especially online. I know how they use the internet, what they like and what they hate, how they find websites, how they use them, and why they don’t.

I know about web. I live my life on websites, search engines, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, on professional forums and discussion groups and on my smartphone. I’ve personally built e-commerce stores, online communities, interactive support sites, 24/7 customer help sites, interactive video training sites, subscription systems, email newsletters and more.
